  • Mr. Joseph K. Grieboski

    An expert in American politics, national security and international affairs, Nobel Peace Prize nominee Joseph K. Grieboski is one of the worlds leading voices on international diplomacy and policymaking. Joe currently serves as the Founder and Secretary General of the Interparliamentary Conference on Human Rights and Religious Freedom and the Founder and Chairman of the International Consortium on Religion, Culture and Dialogue. He will be inducted into the International Hall of Honor in the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College in 2010, which commemorates those who have made significant contributions to the civil and human rights nonviolence movement.
    Joe Grieboski possesses a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service and a Masters in National Security Studies, both from Georgetown University. He received an honorary doctorate from Marywood University in 2008. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and business partner Sarah Channing Grieboski.

  • Mr. Mujahid Alam

    Appointed as Head of Pretoria Liaison Office of the UN Organization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUC) since 2008, Mujahid Alam has extensive and varied experience of over 40 years at the international and national level in United Nations, diplomatic, government and military jobs. He retired as a Brigadier-General from the Pakistan Army before joining the UN on full time basis. He served as Military Attach for Pakistan in London, United Kingdom with concurrent accreditation to Sweden.

    He was a member of the UN International Commission of Inquiry for Rwanda to investigate sale and supply of illegal arms and covert military training. In September 1996, he was specially invited and participated in the Regional Workshop on Small Arms Proliferation held in Pretoria, South Africa, sponsored by the United Nations and Governments of Japan and South Africa. In 1998, Alam worked as Military Consultant and Analyst with the UN Secretary-General's Investigative Team to the Democratic Republic of Congo.

    In 2001, Mr. Alam served as a Member of the UN Panel of Experts for D.R. Congo, established by the UN to investigate illegal exploitation of natural resources. Alam has also worked as Senior Civil Affairs Officer with the UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo in 2003, with the objective of the rehabilitation, reconstruction and reintegration in post-conflict transition in Kosovo.

    He joined MONUC 2003 and was appointed Head of the Liaison Office in Kigali, Rwanda. He was Head of the Liaison Office in Pretoria, RSA between 2005 and 2006. Alam was the Principal Advisor from 2006 to 2008.

    Mr. Alam has a Masters (MSc) degree in Defence Studies. He is married and has four children.

  • Mr. Julian Murdoch. BA. LLB.

    Julian completed his Law degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He now practices as a commercial attorney in private practice for corporate clients both within South Africa and Internationally. He has extensive experience in commercial matters and specialises in mergers and acquisitions. He assists The Earth Organization with strategic planning and the implementation of special projects.
    Julian has travelled extensively in Africa and abroad. He is also an avid climber and has climbed some of the worlds highest mountains.
